“The future global green leader promotion program”
The report session held after overseas training in Mongolia and China (19 August 2009)
 Korea Green Promotion (KGPA) and The Korea Forest Society (KFS) jointly had a report session after overseas training in Mongolia and China at the KFS summer conference held in Dong-kuk University on 19th August 2009 and shared their experiences with forest professionals, professors and students attended at that conference. This overseas training was a part of “The future global green leaders promotion program” supported by KGPA.  On behalf of students, Mr. Jung-Taek Park of Kangwon University presented for his experience in Mongolia and Mr. Woo-Jing Ban of Chon-nam University for his experience in China. They all expressed they realized the seriousness of desertification and the importance of environment conservation through the training program in two countries.  KGPA and KFS selected 60 students from the universities across the country and let them experience the areas combating Desertification. The purpose of this program was to bring up the overseas leaders and this program supported by Mongolia National University and Beijing University of Forestry. | |||
